In April 2006 Austin Dimmer, Simon Lacey and Andrew Girling set off on the 2006 Sony Polar Challenge a 350 mile race to the North Pole. Collectively they are Polar Storm. "Our final position of 6th was very satisfying given that we were a scratch team and were up against teams that had been training together for more than 2 years (there were 4 of these above us)."
